2008 Eagle Retreat Planned

Plans are in place for the 2008 version of the Eagle Retreat at Webster Conference Center in Salina, Kansas on March 28-30, 2008. The Eagle Retreat is for youth in grades 7 through 12 whose parents are in full or bi-vocational staff positions with KNCSB churches or ministries.

Retreat Pastor for the event will be Andy Addis, pastor of Westbrook Baptist Church, Hutchinson, Kansas. He will be assisted again this year by Mark MacKay, Minister to Youth and Children, First Baptist Church, Seymour, Tennessee.

A parent track will be provided in a separate location for parents who wish to come to the retreat with their teens. In addition this year, a program will be provided for children in elementary school whose siblings are attending the Eagle Retreat.

The theme for this year’s Eagle Retreat is “Live Life Gripped.” The focus is upon ownership… owning your ministry, owning your faith, owning your place… getting a grip on your real life.  The scripture theme for this retreat is I Corinthians 1 3: 11-13.
