A Challenge For Prayer Support
By Nancy Lawson
November 2006
Mari Jaquith, KNCSB International Missions Partnership Leader, challenged pastors and messengers at the KNCSB annual meeting in mid-October to lead their congregations to pray for the people of Laos. Please pray for these specific requests:
- A vibrant group of Jesus disciples within walking distance of every person in Laos.
- Mrs. S., a prayer-movement facilitator in Laos, that she will model prayer as a priority in her own life and demonstrate dependence on God as she leads others in prayer.
- Protection.
- The Holy Spirit’s leading in writing a monthly prayer bulletin in Lao for the Lao believers.
- The successful, safe and timely distribution of the monthly prayer bulletins to every group of Jesus followers throughout the nation of Laos.
- That these prayer bulletins will encourage Lao people to pray with greater faith, fervency and insight for Laos and the world.
- For the official church to endorse these bulletins as that would greatly facilitate distribution.
- That God will raise up people with a burden for intercession in each people group and region, and that they will regularly gather others around them to pray.
- For the Tai Dam man who personally witnessed God’s healing hand on his wife that he will seek God and find Him.
- For the former communist soldier and his family that they will continue to grow as children of the One True God. Please also pray they will be able to meet with other believers despite government restrictions and the opposition of non-believers.
