Children’s Ministry Day 2010

Now that the New Year has begun it is time to get on track for this year’s Children’s Ministry Day, February 20, 2010. 

Plan to lead your children’s group to participate in a hands-on ministry project in your own community.

There are all kinds of project’s to think about:  shoveling snow, helping to clean storage places for an elderly couple, finding a senior prayer partner at a nursing home to visit with once a month for a year, helping your pastor do a door- to-door survey, or many other ideas. 

You might want to provide snacks for your church teams that are working on GPS (God’s Plan for Sharing, NAMB) activities or making posters to support the GPS media activities. 

What’s your children’s group willing to do to work in God’s kingdom this year?  We will be excited to see what God has laid on your heart.
