Funding And Volunteers For Summer Completion Of Multi-Purpose Building At WCC Grows Critical
April 2008
Unless a miracle occurs and Webster Conference Center receives a huge influx of money and volunteers, the new multi-purpose building will not be completely finished by summer.
The WCC Staff is still praying for a miracle, but they are also developing Plan B to attempt to have at least a portion of the building open by the time the Associational Children’s camps arrive in late May.
To do this, WCC must complete the concrete patio, retaining walls and entryways for the new building. An additional $100,000 must be raised in the next few months to complete this project. Although this sounds impossible, if just 100 churches donated $1,000 each, this would allow us to finish a portion of the new building in time to impact the lives of hundreds of children and students this summer.
This means if 100 churches could find 40 people who would give $25, this goal could be met. Would you be willing to ask your church to help?
