‘Live With Urgency’ Is Theme Of Offering Emphasis

Do you live with urgency for the souls of your neighbors? What about the people you come in contact with daily as you go about your “everyday life”?

There are no coincidences only divine appointments. Unfortunately, most of us are so busy with our “everyday lives” that we fail to see God at work right beside us.

Begin praying now for the Holy Spirit to help us live with “urgency” for the souls of our land. Our 5,000-plus missionaries in North America cannot do it by themselves. They need us to pray, give and go to reach our land for Jesus.

This year’s theme for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions is “Live with Urgency. Seize Your Divine Moment.” (John 9:4-5)

Annie Armstrong was a lady who seized the divine moments of her time as she led Southern Baptist women across this nation to reach out beyond themselves to pray for, give to and do North American missions. She stands in our history to remind us that we can do this. All we have to do is find the passion that God has laid on each of our hearts. It’s not too late to reach North America for Jesus!

I didn’t think I would ever have to say that, after all, we are a “Christian” nation. Right! Did you know that our country now is near the top of the list of “unchurched” nations of the world? We need to change! We need to have urgency for the lost in our land. We need to start praying for what God would have us give to this offering to reach our nation for Him.

Are you ready for your Divine Appointment?
