“Lottie” Emphasis Approaches
October 2008
Fall is arriving here in Nebraska and Kansas. But before we know it, it will be time to collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
The national offering goal is $170 million. It will provide support for more than 5,300 missionaries serving around the world. Week of Prayer for International Missions is Nov. 30-Dec. 7.
Every penny given to the offering is used to support Southern Baptist missionaries as they share the gospel overseas. The offering makes up 50 percent of the International Mission Board’s total income.
KNCSB will mail Lottie Moon Offering materials to churches. The International Mission Board offers many promotional resources. Go to http://www.imb.org/main/default.asp and click on “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering” in the left menu bar.
