Plan A Family Mission Trip In 2009

There are numerous opportunities for families to go on mission together.  One event is FamilyFest, sponsored by Woman’s Missionary Union-SBC.
“FamilyFEST is recommended for anyone age 6 and up,” The WMU Web site says. The 2009 FamilyFest dates and sites are:

• June 6-12 — Miami, Ariz.
• July 18-23 — Natchez, Miss.
• July 19-24 — Wisconsin Dells, Wis.

The North American Mission Board offers Families on Mission. Children must have completed kindergarten to participate. The 2009 dates and sites are:

• June 6-11 — Southwest Virginia
• June 13-18 — Helen, Ga.
• June 20-25 — Bryson City/Cherokee, N.C.
• July 4-9 — Broken Arrow (Tulsa), Okla.
• July 11-16 — Ruston/Farmerville, La.
• July 18-23 — Columbiana (Birmingham), Ala.
