S.H.I.N E To Help Teen Girls “Spark A Revolution”
August 2008
This year, S.H.I.N E. will encourage teenage girls to step out of their comfort zone and face the world, causing a ripple effect with those they encounter.
Recording artist, Jami Smith (http://www.jamismith.com), will be leading energy -charged worship times along with a variety of speakers. This year, instead of just one keynote speaker, a few different women will speak on how girls can “Spark a Revolution” in their world. Whether it is life on missions, to how to love yourself, which will ultimately spread onto others, the girls at S.H.I.N E. are going to be challenged to spread God’s love to others.
Erica S., a worker with Muslim people, will be sharing her story with the girls. Erica is from Emporia, Kan., and graduated from Kansas State University.
S.H.I.N E. will be held Nov. 14-15 at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan. Promotional packets will reach KNCSB churches in early August. Be sure to promote and enlist early and send in your registration. We are looking for a full house this year and registration is first come, first served!
