VBS Jumpstart Coming In March

Get ready for VBS 2008! Get great ideas, teaching helps, and have fun at VBS Jumpstart on March 8, 2008. Again this year the statewide event will be held at First Southern Baptist Church, 2401 South Ohio, in Salina, Kansas.
Training will be available for both LifeWay curriculum choices. Whether it’s preschool or youth, children or adults, Bible study or crafts, there is something for everyone.

LifeWay’s Outrigger Island: Living God’s Unshakeable Truth will use a tropical adventure to help kids develop the stability they need to become unshakeable in a world of shifting sands.
The VBS scripture is Psalms 86:11, “Teach me your way, Lord, and I will live by your truth.” (HCSB) Outrigger Island provides sound, relevant Bible teaching, classes and activities for every age and encourages real life application. Theme-related site rotations reinforce the biblical content with hands-on activities.
Saddle up for Lifeway’s Club VBS: Cactus Canyon. As kids gather ‘round the campfire in Cactus Canyon, they’ll hear all about the good news in John 3:16 and learn ways they can tell everyone they know about Jesus.
Club VBS is ideal for traditional weeklong VBS, day camps, mission trips, or mid-week programs. Groups may order the Cactus Canyon Starter Kit, then purchase additional items as needed.
